RULES OF UKRMAN TRIATLON

 Organizers of the triathlon UM believe that honesty, decency and sport behavior are the main motivation for the participants to overcome the distance. However, in order to maintain the principle of "Fair play" for everyone, official judges will patrol the track of the competition during the race.

• The instructions and instructions of the Marshall route, police and Race Judges must be respected by all race participants without exception.

• Marshall is allowed, at his own discretion, to issue a warning in a voice. Stop the participant and apply the "Stop & Go" rule to punish the violation. Present to the participant a yellow warning card or a red card for disqualification.

• Appeal against a judge's decision or the behavior of another participant during the race can be submitted to the Appeals Jury within 2 hours from the end of the race. To apply for a protest should be enclosed 300 UAN, which will be returned only if the appeal is satisfied. Members of the Appeals Jury will be named at the pre-launch briefing.

• Any accompanying participant on the race track or assistance in the wrong place will be penalized by an immediate disqualification.

• Participation in the triathlon in headphones is prohibited.

 

STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT

On the day of the start, the participant of the individual triathlon UM race is obliged at the time indicated in the Schedule of the race:

- to deposit personal belongings in the places allocated by the organizers in the transit zones T1 and T2 in special bags issued in the start packages;

- no later than one hour before the start, arrive in the T1 transit area and provide your vehicle with a bicycle helmet for inspection.

• The bicycle number must be placed on the seat tube and must be clearly visible on both sides. Changing the size of the room or its absence on the bike is not allowed.

• The participant's sticker number, if issued at the time of registration, must be glued to the front of the helmet.

• It is forbidden to place a bicycle in the transit area, without monitoring the technical condition of the bicycle and helmet at the entrance to the transit zone.

• After the equipment is deposited, it can not be removed from the transit area until the end of the competition.

TRANSIT ZONE

 Entrance and exit to the transit zone with a bicycle is allowed only to those who present the participant's breast number. Entry to the transit zone closes 10 minutes before the start.

• Starting from the moment when bicycles are placed in transit only participants, volunteers and organizers can be located within the transit zone. Trainers, relatives and spectators can not be there.

• The direction of movement inside the transit zone is strictly defined. When driving, it is necessary to follow the transit scheme, painted signs and instructions of volunteers.

• It is forbidden to enter / exit the transit zone in any other place except the "entry" and "exit" zones.

• Athletes must take and pack their belongings themselves in transit bags.

• Dress only in the designated areas. Full denial is prohibited.

• After changing the transit bag with things from the previous stage, you must transfer it to the nearest volunteer or leave it at the designated "Drop zone".

• A bicycle helmet can only be packed in a transit bag with the inscription "BIKE".

• Bicycle shoes must be fastened to the bicycle pedals, or be in a transit bag.

• Athletes must find their own bicycle in the transit area and remove it from the bicycle rack.

• Movement on a bicycle within the transit zone is prohibited, athletes can only move next to the bike. You can get on a bicycle only outside the transit zone. This place is marked by a strip on the ground, next to it will be a volunteer who will report on the end of the transit zone.

• Each bicycle is assigned a numbered place in the transit area. A bicycle that will not be found in the space reserved for it will be removed by the organizers.

 

SWIM

• A swimming cap, issued by the organizers, is mandatory for wearing during a swim.

• The start is made from water, one starting wave.

• It is allowed to use a wetsuit.

• Swimming with a BIBnumber is prohibited.

• During swimming, it is forbidden to cross the distance by running along the shore or to cut off the angles of the marked distance.

• All buoys must be swept along the circumference according to the chart of navigation.

• There is no escape from the water between the circles.

TRANSIT ZONE T1

In the competition will be used two transit zones.

Transit zone T1 will be located in the launch zone, at the Bakayivskiy dam

• Do not place equipment and clothing outside of T1, including leaving shoes on shore.

• All equipment and clothing that is used to change stages, with the exception of a bicycle, helmet and bicycle shoes (only if it is fastened to the pedals), is packed into a T1 bag and hung on a special rack. Before leaving the bicycle, after the transit has been completed, the equipment from the swimming stage should be laid in a T1 bag. Items left outside the T1 bag can be lost and not returned to the owner.

• Assistance to participants in the transit area is allowed only to the official UM triathlon staff.

• At the end of the competition at the swimming stage, all T1 bags will be moved to the storage room in the finish area by the organizers team.

  

BIKE

• Cycling should be in accordance with the rules of the road and with extreme caution.

• During the bike race, the number of the competitor must be placed on the back of the body. It is forbidden to add or change the size of the number.

• Cycling should be strictly on the right side of the road to allow other participants to safely overtake.

• Overtaking of participants is allowed only on the left side. Immediately after the end of the overtaking, the cyclist must return to the right side of the road.

• Leading (drafting) on ​​bike is prohibited. The distance between cyclists is less than 12 meters in front and behind and less than 3 meters from the side. The allowed time for overtaking in the nafting zone is not more than 20 seconds.

• A cyclist who is overtaken has no right to prevent overtaking, must give way, allow the rival to complete the overtaking. Leave the nafting zone and not before 5 seconds later try to overtake the opponent.

• It is strictly forbidden to cross the middle part of the road, regardless of whether it is marked by a dividing line, or if there is no line at all.

• It is forbidden to receive equipment, food or technical assistance from any person who is not a participant in the race or is not part of the official team of triathlon organizers.

• A participant who has received a yellow card from the Marshall of the race may continue to ride the bike to the end of the stage, but upon arrival at T2 he must independently arrive in the Penalty-Box for a 5 minute penalty for each yellow card received. Only after serving a fine, he is allowed to get his bag T2 and continue the race.

• If the competitor has received a yellow card and has not served a penalty in the Penalty-Box, then the final result is added to 15 minutes.

• An athlete who receives 3 yellow cards on a bicycle stage will be disqualified.

TRANSIT ZONE T2

Transit zone T2 will be located at the stadium of the village of Belyaevka, in the finish zone.

• All equipment and clothing that is used to change stages must be laid in a T2 bag and hung on a special rack. Before leaving the zone, after the transit has been completed, the equipment from the cycle stage should be packed in a T2 bag. Things left outside the bag of T2 can be lost and not returned to the owner.

• Assistance to participants in the transit area is allowed only to the official UM triathlon staff.

 

RUN

• During the run, you must be careful to avoid unexpected obstacles or cars on the way in time.

• The participant number must be attached to the front of the trunk during the run. It is forbidden to add or change the size of the number.

• Running should be on the right side of the road or on the sidewalks, according to the scheme of the running phase and road marking.

• It is allowed to receive assistance (food or equipment) not from the official UM triathlon team at a distance of 20 meters from the food points.

• It is allowed to accompany the participant only the last 200 meters of the running distance, if this does not interfere with the other participants of the race.

 

AFTER THE FINISH

• Each competitor who completes the race at the check-in time and without disqualification will receive the finish trophies specified in the Triathlon Rules.

• Bicycle, T1 and T2 bags must be withdrawn from the storage and transit area no later than 02:30AM.

• In order to pick up a bicycle from the transit area and bags from the storage room, the race participant must present his or her breastplate number.

SYSTEM OF PENALTIES

1. In case of non-observance by the participants of the above rules of the competition, they are fined.

2. If a fine is received, the participant (team) is placed by the organizers in a special box (penalty box) for serving the sentence.

3. The system of penalties for triathlon competitions is as follows:

  an oral warning - is not punished in any way, serves to correct the actions of athletes with minor violations;

  violation (yellow card) - full stop;

  the first violation (blue card) - stop for 5 minutes;

  the second violation (blue card) - stop for 10 minutes;

  third violation (blue card) - disqualification;

  gross violation of the rules (red card) - an instant disqualification.

 

SWIM

1. False start - blue card

2. Cutting the distance, not drifting the buoys, etc. Depending on the cut size, a blue or red card

3. Non-use of the swimming cap, issued by the organizers -  blue card

4. Putting on the starting number under the wetsuit -  blue card

BIKE

1. Riding in a transit zone on a bicycle - yellow or blue card

2. Non-compliance with traffic rules - blue or yellow card

3. Finding out of the zone of the rightmost band for more than 25 seconds without a reason - a blue or yellow card

4. Being on a bicycle stage with a bare torso -  blue card

5. Drefting - blue or yellow card

6. Using a phone, player, navigator, headphones -  red card

7. Disposal of garbage outside food points - blue card

8. Double overtaking - red card

9. Holding a pass on the right -  red card

10. Intentionally cutting the distance - red card

11. Being on a velotape without a helmet -  red card

12. Ignoring the requirements of the judges -  red card

13. Rough non-observance of traffic rules - red card

14. Use of technical assistance inconsistent with the organizers - red card

15. Use of prohibited equipment - red card

16. Intentional rudeness in relation to other sportsmen, spectators, volunteers, judges -  red card.

 

RUN

1. Using a phone, player, navigator, headphones -  red card

2. Finding in the running stage with a bare torso - blue, and in case of ignoring -  red card

3. Intentionally cutting the distance - red card

Transit zone

1. Full denudation - blue card

2. Dressing out of the dressing-room -  blue card
